AIDS Walk will be on Sunday, October 21, 2012.

On behalf of Phi Beta Sigma, State of Ga I would like to cordially invite you to the 22nd Annual Aids Walk Atlanta and 5k run. As you all know Aids is an epidemic that Of more than 1 million people in the U.S. infected with HIV, nearly half are black men, women and children — even though blacks make up about 13 percent of the population. AIDS is the primary killer of African-Americans ages 19 to 44, and the mortality rate is 10 times higher for black Americans than for whites. This is a huge event that just last year raised over a million dollars that went towards HIV/AIDS victims and helps fund more than 85,000 education program participants right here in Atlanta.

We want to make our footprint on this event and we need YOUR help. If you can follow the links below and donate a minimum of $10.00 to our team, it would help us tremendously to reach or exceed our goal. There is also an opportunity for you to register to be a walker or participate in the run at this event although it is not required. We wish to see as many of you there as possible and hope that you donate to this cause. Don’t for get to join our team “Team-Phi Beta Sigma.” Its under Phi Beta Sigma.
